The following sections describe the use and storage of the data generated by the user. In General it is assured to the user that not personalised data is transmitted to an external server by Golf Range Hero.

1. Data Storage and Use
The app Golf Range Hero saves acquired data locally on the device and transmits non personalized data to a central server.
The data is used locally for the purpose of the app.
The transmitted data is used for statistical analysis of the exercise results (such as average result vs. HCP, average duration). It is finally used for the calibration of the exercise definitions to the benefit of HCP evaluation and duration prediction within the app. Statistical data derived from the data of all users might also be used for other purpose (e.g. publication on aceingolf.com or in media).
The following data is associated to the individual data sets:
- exercise ID
- date
- duration in seconds
- results
- players age (as given in settings)
- players handicap (as given in settings)
- players sex (as given in settings)
2. Export of Data
Exercise data - as identified in Section 1 (Data Storage and Use) - is transmitted to a centralized server. It is not personalized, hence data can not be traced back to an individual user.
